As a Registered Social Worker and clinical case manager, Kim offers a personalized approach in a world where the system can feel anything but. Kim has built a dynamic career in healthcare and brings more than 30 years experience from her work and education across many diverse clinical settings – including developmental services support for children and adults, complex continuing care, inpatient neuro-behavioural rehabilitation programs for persons who have experienced acquired brain injuries, as well as emergency department and neuropsychiatry placements, and much more. Bridging her clinical experience and her years at a leading Ontario personal injury law firm, Kim provides a comprehensive, knowledge-backed services to clients and their families that is underpinned by a client-focused and strengths-based approach to care.
Kim remains a committed life-long learner, regularly taking post-graduate courses and attending professional conferences, both locally and internationally, to provide the best service she can to her clients. She has been invited to speak at various conferences and enjoys giving in-service presentations to various agencies and community partners. Kim also volunteers her time with the OASW and is presently the chair of the Ontario Association of Social Worker's (OASW's) MVA-sector practice group. Within this role, she also acts as the OASW's representative on, and co-chair of, the Coalition of Health Professions in Auto Insurance. She is committed to supporting her social work colleagues in this specialized area of practice.

Mark Doogan, B.Eng. (Aerospace)

After graduating from Ryerson University, Mark worked in the aviation industry for several years before finding work closer to home in a mechanical engineering capacity. After his firm decided to conclude operations in Canada, he made the life decision to collaborate with his wife, Kim, by working full-time behind the scenes at Focus Rehabilitation Consulting Inc. and providing comprehensive administrative and finance support. Mark’s dedication and involvement ensures that the clinical team is able to concentrate on what they do best: empowering clients through personalized support and services.
